Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I’m Mrs. Lisa, a professional culinary Registered Dietitian and Diabetes Educator. I have nearly 30 years of experience teaching cooking, baking, and nutrition to learners of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. My love for food began as a child baking Southern classics with my grandmother, and I’ve since pursued formal training at Immaculata University (B.S. in Food and Nutrition Science, minor in Child Development) and Le Cordon Bleu Boston, as well as numerous culinary workshops.
As an instructor, I combine my expertise with a passion for making learning fun and interactive. I believe food brings people together, and my goal is to empower kids with kitchen confidence while teaching the science, culture, and joy of cooking. In this class, I’ll help your child create a delicious recipe and learn valuable life skills.
When I’m not teaching, I love traveling, hosting dinner parties, and sharing food experiences with my family. I’m so excited to welcome your child to my kitchen classroom—let’s bake something amazing together!
