This is a fun, hands-on class where the students will learn to make delicious, healthy energy bites. These bites are easy and quick to make,not to mention they require no baking or cooking! Because they are full of fiber and protein, they make the perfect snack or even breakfast! No experience is needed! We will be making these in class and I will be helping each student. No rush! Each student will be allowed to work at his/her own pace.

My goal for each student is to have fun and learn to make a healthy, delicious snack!

Ingredients: Oatmeal: (quick oats), chocolate chips, honey, ground flaxseed, peanut butter ( or another type of nut butter), vanilla Materials: Bowl, spatula, measuring cups and spoons

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

As a Nutritionist and mother of four I want to make sure my kids are getting the nutrients they need to be healthy. So many foods today are full of sugar and other ingredients that are not good for kids. I love these energy bites because they are healthy, but also delicious!
