Students will view physical fitness as fun. The more that young learners consider physical fitness a natural part of their daily schedule, the more likely they are to be engaged in fitness as they age leading to a healthier lifestyle. One in three children are overweight in America, and youngsters who enjoy physical activity are the ones most likely to be active in the future. Students will develop teamwork and sportsmanship. When stressed learners struggle to focus and manage their emotions properly, physical activity is a great way to relieve stress, promoting positive mental health in children.

NO HOMEWORK! Each month I will provide a free fun parent/child activity handout.
Water, open space, workout mat (not necessary but might be helpful), light weights (under 10 lbs)/or other weighted items.
Tips and progress reports will be provided monthly.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Learners will need an open space when participating with no dangerous equipment/items around. Learners will need to wear non slip shoes or proper footwear. Learners will need water for hydration during class time. Learners will need proper stretching before class to decrease chance of injury. Learners will need proper attire. Comfortable stretchy clothes. Or PJS for early morning class. :D Learners will need a workout mat (yoga) or towel for class. (Optional)
