What's included
2 live meetings
50 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this energized class, we'll have a blast making friends and healthy choices! We’ll meet twice each week, starting each meeting with a wild and crazy functional movement workout. On day one, once we cool down, we’ll talk about the nutrient of the week and explore some foods that are good sources. On our second meeting of the week, once we cool down from our workout, we'll learn about stress-relieving activities and discuss ideas for ways to incorporate both wellness and kindness into our everyday. We'll explore new topics weekly. Students will need to have water and plenty of space to move safely. They should have a 6-10 inch ball (or similarly-sized stuffed animal) and a tennis ball or similarly-sized ball. Teacher expertise and credentials
Master's Degree in Science from Kaplan University
I have an M.S. in health education and a B.S. in health, wellness, and nutrition. I have spent most of the last decade developing and teaching curriculum for youth and family community health programs. I've had the opportunity to help children and adults learn about the prevention and reversal of chronic health issues and feel more capable in the face of confusing health and nutrition information.
