Health for Preschoolers: Introduction to the Bodies Organs!
In this 25 minute class, students will learn about the names for our bodies main organs (ex. heart, liver) as well as their functions to help their growing bodies!

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the importance of our bodies organs for their growing bodies! Additionally, students will gain an understanding of the basics behind the location of each of our major organs and why they are located there! By the end of the class, students will be able to identify and label on the body their major organs as well as discuss their function and it's importance for their growing bodies!
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, honors specialization in fitness and exercise prescription. Additionally, I have had significant experience studying as well as teaching anatomy and exercise science to children of all ages as a traditional and non-traditional educator.
Students will be provided with a worksheet prior to the beginning of class and are encouraged to bring it with them to class! Additionally, students will need a pencil or crayon to be used to help them complete the worksheet!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note this material regarding body parts, specifically the bodies organs is covered in both Kindergarten and 1st grade science and health curriculums. I have extensive experience teaching this and ensure it is discussed in an age appropriate fashion without a focus on any topics or questions that could potentially lead to grey area for this age group or that is not age appropriate.
