Class Experience
In this lesson students will be eager to participate in engaging games and activities that will make learning about homophones fun! This class offers a simple introduction or refresher course in homophones, words that are pronounced the same, but spell and mean differently. Students will learn the definition, recognize and give examples of homophones. They will also practice using homophones with some fun games including Homophone Pictionary. Students will learn the definition, recognize and give examples of homophones. Students will also be able to use them correctly.
Students are encouraged to continue to look for and have fun with homophones everywhere, both inside and outside the classroom!
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents should have something to write with and a copy of the provided print out when they come to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed by their classroom involvement and participation.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
