Class Experience

Students will learn how Math could be used when cooking in the kitchen.
As a Licensed Math Teacher for Elementary and Middle School Students as well as a teacher for over two decades, I have taught Math to students of all ages. I have been cooking in the kitchen with my mom from the time I was a child and have continued to cook all through my adult years. I have used Real World Math examples in my decades of teaching Math as well as in my own life experiences with my time spent cooking in the kitchen.
Students could continue to explore how Math is used when cooking in the kitchen.
Paper, pencil, and eraser
Students will self-assess their understanding of how Math could be used when cooking in the kitchen.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
