This is part 1 of learning to read in Spanish for Pre- schoolers, will cover basic skills to learn the correct sound of the letters, vowels and how to put them together by playing games and singing songs.

Class Experience

This class is designed specially for ages 5-7. By playing games and singing songs the students will develop a strong base to learn how to read in Spanish  and the correct pronunciation of words. Students need no prior Spanish knowledge.

Class 1:  Basic introductions in Spanish and English, Learning a song with Abuela Toñita ( puppet use to engage learners)
and   Spanish Alphabet and correct pronunciation. Singing song to practice alphabet.
Class 2:  Vowels, correct pronunciation. Singing and plying games to help learning in a fun way. 
    Putting together sounds and reading simple words. Letters M, P, and L 
Class 3:  Using skills learned. Putting together sounds and reading simple words. 
Class 4: Learning the different sounds of the letter C. 
  Spanish Alphabet and vowel review
  Review, Games, Assessment, Discussion

The material will be presented to the students in a variety of formats.  We will practice correct pronunciation of the letters and words. Having fun, singing songs and playing games while practicing with the other students in the class.  We will spend lots of time repeating the Spanish alphabet, to pronounce the vowels throughout class and how putting together the sounds we can learn to read.

Hi, my name is Sra. Yasmin Lopez, I was born and raised in the island of Puerto Rico. I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I have a BA in Biology and have worked in the private school system, before becoming a martial arts instructor in Taekwondo. Spanish is my first language, as a product of an immersion school education,  I am totally bilingual. 
For 10 years I worked as a translator for an NGO. I have traveled throughout Latin America as a liaison between foreign governments  and NGOs.
I have experience working with children Pre-school to High School.
