In this class, learners will use their love and knowledge of the Harry Potter characters to learn about character traits, comparing and contrasting characters new vocabulary and Venn Diagrams.

Description

Class Experience

Learners will leave this course with an understanding of what character traits are and how to compare and contrast them using a Venn diagram. They will be able to relate new vocabulary words to Character traits.
No homework
 1 file available upon enrollment
2 Documents will be available upon enrollment for your learner print out prior to class. We will complete one during class, and the other will be for suggested practice.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We will evaluate each step as we go to ensure understanding. Learners will be evaluated on their comprehension of character traits and usage of compare and contrast Venn diagram.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students should be familiar with Harry Potter and be able to pick two characters that they have enough knowlege of to compare and contrast, whether the knowlege is from the books or the movies.
