⚡ This class is designed to support an exploration of the key themes, plot & character development throughout Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in an enjoyable way, whilst encouraging students to form comprehension & articulate opinions on the story Through thought-provoking discussion questions the class aims to be an enjoyable way for learners to develop new understandings and connections from the book, whilst engaging in fun conversations with fellow young Harry Potter readers. 🌟 We will discuss students favourite chapters (how does it change/add to the story) and the development of their favourite characters throughout the book - students may want to think of some clues to describe that character so the class can guess who they are. Favourite quotes from the book will also be discussed - learners are encouraged to bring along a couple of quotes for the class to try remember who said what! ✨ 🪄 I will share some fun Harry Potter book facts - for instance did you know that J K Rowling and Harry Potter share the same birthday (July 31st) - if students want to share any fun facts too they are most welcome to. Supporting children to study the Harry Potter books is a brilliant way to encourage children to enjoy reading even more! The characters, settings, and plot twists are so compelling and immersive that over the years the series has fostered a passion for books in millions of children all around the world. ⭐ Feel free to dress up as a witch/wizard or bring any Harry Potter toys/accessories along to this class if you'd like! About me: I grew up reading Harry Potter - and have re-read all the books many times now! I look forward to teaching students who are as enthusiastic about Harry as I am! Learning is ongoing love of mine, which has transferred on to my love of teaching. My classes are designed to encourage curiosity in students as a way of exploring new ideas and understandings. I am a passionate educator who likes to incorporate fun projects & quizzes into classes, to better engage students and immerse them in enjoying learning! 💫
