📝 Class Summary
Step onto the Quidditch pitch in this interactive Harry Potter Book Club! Sort into houses, take on a Quidditch role, and answer thoughtful questions about plot, character development, key themes and more from the books. Compete with your team to earn House Points while sharpening your critical thinking and improving your speaking skills.

🌟 Class Highlights
1️⃣ Choose Your House and Role
Start by joining one of the two Hogwarts houses playing that day, then pick your Quidditch position: Chaser, Beater, Keeper, or Seeker.

2️⃣ Interactive Slideshow
Take turns answering fun, thought-provoking questions inspired by the Harry Potter books. Questions will include topics such as key events, characters, themes and more!

3️⃣ Quidditch Scoring System

By answering correctly...
Chasers: Earn 10 points for your team with a correct answer.
Beaters: Choose to answer another team’s question and earn their points!
Keepers: Block the other team’s Chasers from scoring.
Seekers: If your question reveals the Golden Snitch, score 150 points and end the game!

4️⃣ Team Spirit and Strategy
Work together with your housemates to score big and win the game! Each session ends with a recap of the top-scoring house.

Each session runs for 30 minutes and includes:

5 minutes: Sorting and choosing positions
30 minutes: Quidditch-inspired magical challenge game
5 minutes: House Cup recap and wrap-up

Whether you're a seasoned Potterhead or new to the Wizarding World, this club is perfect for all levels of magical fans. We also offer alternative ways to participate, including typing answers in the chat for those who prefer it.

Hi, I’m Mrs. Friedland, an experienced educator and lifelong Harry Potter enthusiast. My mission is to bring the magic of reading alive for learners through fun, interactive experiences. Let’s make the Wizarding World our classroom!

Supply List
Learners should have read at least books 1-3 of the Harry Potter series. they do not need the books for the club but might want them to reference
