In this class, students will join their peers and their teacher for a fun, lively discussion of the Harry Potter books. Students will have fun talking about their favorite characters and moments from each book. They will also explore the themes of each book and what we can learn from these stories. We will take two class meetings to discussion each book. Before each class meeting, students are expected to read the assigned chapters. I will provide students with a few questions each week to...
In this class, students will learn how to discuss the books they read in a meaningful way. They will also learn how to speak and act graciously when they disagree.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
This class is ideal for students who are avid readers. Students enrolled in this class are expected to read an increasing number of chapters each week, as the books increase in length as the series goes on. If your student prefers a slower reading pace, I offer individual classes on each of these books. In those classes, students read 3-4 chapters per week and complete short, creative assignments.
