1-2 hours per week. Students will be reading outside of class.Class Experience
**Students will read chapters 1, 2, and 3 before coming to the first class* This book takes students on an exciting adventure. Students will read 2 or 3 chapters per week and will meet with the class after they have finished reading each week. Students will be asked questions to help with reading comprehension. They will also be presented with some vocabulary words that we will discuss as a class. Students will be able to free draw different parts of the book as we go. Students will be asked to explain the chapters from different points of view. What one character thinks may be completely different from another. Our experience is from reading the books myself. Students will be asked to bring pencil and paper to each class to write down vocabulary words as well as separate understanding from different character points of view. Students will be taught vocabulary and reading comprehension. This class is discussion based. Students need no prior knowledge of this subject to do well in this class. We are so excited to meet each learner and go on this amazing adventure with them. Students will read this book only outside of class. During class students may not show or read out of their books. We are in no way affiliated with Warner Brothers copyright and we take following their rules very seriously. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We are however really excited to discuss each part of this book with your readers. We have been reading these books over and over again for years and they never get old. They are wonderfully written.
Learning Goals
Students will increase their comprehension and vocabulary.
