Read 2 chapters per weekClass Experience
US Grade 4 - 7
**Students will read chapters 1 and 2 before coming to the first class* This book takes students on an exciting adventure. Students will read 2 chapters per week and will meet with the class after they have finished reading each week. Students will be asked questions to help with reading comprehension. They will also be presented with some vocabulary words that we will discuss as a class. Students will be able to free draw different parts of the book as we go. Students will be asked to explain the chapters from different points of view. What one character thinks may be completely different from another. My experience is from reading the books myself. Students will be asked to bring pencil and paper to each class to write down vocabulary works as well as seperate understanding from different character points of view. I am so excited to start this class. Students will be taught vocabulary and reading comprehension. I do not use any technology other than the platform itself. I use good old fashioned teaching and I am a discussion based teacher. I will talk to the children about the book and we will discuss the chapter we have read. Students need no prior knowledge of this subject to do well in this class.
