Greetings Witches, Wizards, and all Magical Students,

In this one time section, we will critically examine and celebrate finishing the book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. This book discussion will serve as a fun review of reading comprehension. We will also be discussing characters, settings, the plot, and a few conflicts from the story. Student's knowledge and opinions of the book will be needed to complete this discussion. Please come ready to talk about all things Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

    Agenda:

-We will open up every class with introductions and then begin our discussion. (What is your Hogwarts house?)
-As the Professor, I will be facilitating questions and talking points about the characters, the storylines, and the wizarding world.
- Reading Comprehension in a fun way.
-Lastly, what is your opinion of these wizarding situations?

Parent zone: _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This class will be suitable for student who have already completed the 1st book in the series of Harry Potter.
We will *only* be discussing the first book. If a student wants to talk about all of the series combined please look for my other section titled: Wizardly Harry Potter World Book Discussion- ONE TIME

My Personal Class Policies:
- Classes need to have at least two learners in order to facilitate a rich discussion. Low enrollment will result in a refund or a transfer of the learner, at the option of the parent.
- Learners need to follow classroom expectations and be respectful to others.
- For security reasons, learners must show themselves on the camera for a moment at the beginning of class to verify their identities.
- Be prepared for class as I love to interact with everyone.
-There is always the possibility of a good discussion extending past the class end time. Learners should not feel obligated to stay past the schedule time.

Talking about a topic that you are passionate about is fun and helps to build listening and public speaking skills. Students are welcome to come to class dressed in Harry Potter robes or attire. Wands and magical pets are welcome as well!
