Students will improve their reading and reading comprehension skills.
Students will read 3 chapters of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix per week and will complete a short assignment. The reading and assignment should take about 2-2.5 hours per week.
Learners will need a copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by JK Rowling
Learners will be assessed informally, through weekly teacher feedback on assignments.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Harry Potter does contain themes of good vs evil and could be scary for more sensitive learners. Students will be provided with links to Google Forms for their homework assignments. Learners do not need a Google account to fill out the form. If you would prefer to have your learner not use Google Forms, please send me a message and we can work out another way for them to complete the assignments.
