Come join us for a Happy Hamster hangout where you get to socialize with other hamster lovers - learners will have the opportunity to show and tell the class all about their hamsters, along with other happy hamster happenings!

In this hangout, learners will have the opportunity to bring and show off their hamsters to the class! Learners will tell the class all about their hamsters as they show it off! *If you do not have a hamster, you can draw a picture of the perfect hamster that you would like to have and share with the class. After introducing ourselves and our hamsters, we will read a funny book called "Ferocious Fluffety", which is about a crazy little pet hamster. If time allows, we will then learn a few cool hamster facts! Cashew (my hamster) and I look forward to meeting you and your hamster in the Happy Hamster Hangout!

Supply List
Have you hamster near-by so you can easily pick it up and share it with the class. If you do not have a hamster, you can draw a picture of the hamster you would like to have (optional).
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

My name is Elora Masiane. I live in sunny South Florida with my hip husband, my fabulous five year old, my nifty nine year old, my 2 happy hamsters, 2 fantastic fish and my cool cat!
I have been a teacher for 7 years, having taught Kindergarten through 3rd grade. I have taught ALL subjects. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University. I am certified to teach Gifted and ESOL.
I LOVE to teach and I LOVE for my learners to have FUN! I believe the most important part of learning is having fun and feeling loved. I am very passionate about creating an atmosphere in my classes where student feel heard and they feel important. I love to be silly, sing, dance and...you guessed it...have FUN
