Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Rosie. I am a mom of two, a Pastry Chef, and a Zoologist. I have B.S both in Biology and Pastry Chef Training. I also have my certificate in Art and Sculpting from College of Art.
I’ve been teaching cooking and biology for almost 10 years in two languages, English and Farsi, as I am a bilingual.
Recently I have been active as an elementary art docent in one of Issaquah district schools.
My strategy is to keep recipes simple yet healthy enough for all ages. My recipes comes from all around the world. I am very patient at teaching and try to keep students always motivated to move on to the next experiments. I teach them not only to dare mixing different ingredients but also to try new recipes.
That being said, I always encourage students to value nutritional food and use it in recipes.
