In this class, students will be making fun cards for dad! We will begin class by discussing what makes our dads/male figures special and unique! Then, students will be guided in making two different cards. The first card is a trophy card. The template is neutral and without words so children can use this template for any special person. The second card is laid out like a newspaper article for the "Dad Times". Students will fill in the blanks to personalize their card with their own cherished experiences. It also provides a "Dad Checklist" on the cover for students to tick off their father's best qualities from a list that includes funny, caring, brave, and wise.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in History from Grand Canyon University
Hello! My name is Tracy. From ESL to social clubs and creative writing, I offer many different classes that are fun and allow for learning without pressure and stress! Academic success has always been important to me. I was the valedictorian of my high school graduating class and I graduated from Grand Canyon University, cum laude. I have 16 years of teaching experience. I taught a private school before starting a family of my own. I have taught every subject, from ESL to math and physics! I’ve taught ages from 3 to 18 years old.
Learning is important, but it's difficult to learn when you are stressed, struggling, or overwhelmed. I strive to make my classes fun so learning is easy.
As a mother of five, I understand that every child is different and they each have a learning style that works best for them. Because I have homeschooled all five of my children since the beginning of their schooling, I have seen the different ways children learn and know the importance of making learning enjoyable . I adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of the student.
I look forward to our classtime!
