Happy Birthday, Wisconsin! This state turns 175 years old on May 29th. (We will celebrate it on Tuesday, May 30th since I will be going out of town.) To celebrate, we will briefly explore what makes this state great. Students will learn about Wisconsin's capital, age and birthday, nickname, motto, and state bird/mammal/flower. Together, we will also briefly explore the symbolism of the state's seal and flag. We will also listen to Wisconsin's state song and learn some interesting...

I will be screen sharing two Youtube videos that I have embedded into my PowerPoint. We will listen to 5 interesting fun facts created by the academic Youtube channel, Studies Weekly, and listening to the official state song with the DN Anthems Youtube channel.
We will be learning the state's nickname and motto, which are found on Wisconsin's official website. We will also be learning about the state mammal, flower, and bird which can be found in the same place. We will color in the state flag, also found on the state website. We will listen to 5 interesting fun facts created by the academic Youtube channel, Studies Weekly, and listening to the official state song with the DN Anthems Youtube channel.
