Description

Class Experience

      This is a fun class where students will learn how to play "Happy Birthday" on the violin. Birthdays are days to celebrate, and what better way to do it than with music! We all want to make our loved ones feel special on their birthdays, and the best gifts are the ones we make ourselves, like making music. 
      Students of all levels are welcome to join the class, but a beginning violin class should precede this one to make sure that students know the basics of the instrument. Students...

The student will practice the "Happy Birthday" song on the violin and will learn how to play it slowly by the end of the class.

       I am a professional musician and a State-Certified K-12 Music teacher based in Miami, Florida. I hold a Master’s Degree in Music Education and a Bachelor's in Violin Performance from Florida International University. 
       I have worked with pre-school and school-aged children for over five years, and have taught group music lessons as well as private music lessons to hundreds of students. I am passionate about passing on the love and knowledge I have for music to all of my students.

No homework is required for this class. I do recommend that students continue to practice the song with the sheet music I provided.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
