Class Experience
Happy Birthday, North Carolina! This state turns 233 years old on November 21st. To celebrate, we will briefly explore what makes this state great. Students will learn about North Carolina's capital, age and birthday, nickname, motto, flag, and state bird/mammal/flower. We will also listen to North Carolina's state song and briefly learn about it's road to statehood. Class Expectations: I love participation and I love activity. Students will be able to identify the state's symbols, nicknames, and motto.
