Class Experience

Happy Birthday, James K. Polk! November 2nd was this 11th U.S. President's birthday! 

To celebrate, we will briefly explore the life of this president. Students will learn about James Polk's presidential story, as well as some interesting facts about him. 

Class Expectations:
I love participation and I love activity. I'd love students to verbally participate, but it's not required. I do ask for students to mute their microphones unless they are speaking to help with background noise. They...

Students will be able to identify facts about this president's life and term in office.

  1 file available upon enrollment
Students will be able to download and print off a worksheet about the president.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
