Happy Birthday, Franklin Pierce! November 23rd was this 14th U.S. President's birthday!

To celebrate, we will briefly explore the life of this president. Students will learn about Franklin Pierce's presidential story, as well as some interesting facts about him, such as the fact that he has no middle name, was friends with famous American poets in college, and was the first president to put a Christmas tree in the White House. 

Class Expectations:
I love participation and I love activity....

Students will be able to identify facts about this president's life and term in office.

  1 file available upon enrollment
Students will be able to download and print off a worksheet about the president.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
