Happy Birthday, Calvin Coolidge. July 4th was this 30th U.S. President's birthday! (We will be celebrating on Friday, July 1st since I won't be teaching on Independence Day.) To celebrate, we will briefly explore the life of this president. Students will learn about Calvin Coolidge presidential story, as well as some interesting facts about his life. Class Expectations: I love participation and I love activity. I'd love students to verbally participate, but it's not required. I do ask for...

We will be watching 2 youtube videos embedded into a powerpoint: a song that lists all 46 presidents and a short 60 second clip about Calvin Coolidge by PBS Presidents.
*Political opinions and bias, as well as deep dives will NOT be a part of the class. We will learn age-appropriate facts about President Calvin Coolidge's term in office from whitehouse.gov, millercenter.org, history.com and Britannica.
