Happy Birthday, Alabama! This state turns 202 years old on December 14th. To celebrate, we will briefly explore what makes this state great. Students will learn about Alabama's capital, age and birthday, nickname, motto, flag, and state bird/mammal/flower. We will also listen to Alabama's state song and briefly learn about it's road to statehood. Class Expectations: I love participation and I love activity. I'd love students to verbally participate, but it's not required. I do ask for...
