Students will learn about various practices of the Chanukah holiday: how it came into being, and how it is celebrated in different places.
Instruction will be given on correct kindling of the menorah. If your learner wants to practice it on the spot, supervision will be needed. We will include crafts, necessitating the use of scissors. Please supervise the younger learners. I have taught afternoon Hebrew school as well as day school for many years, and have a repertoire of activities for children.
I shall provide the needed craft materials list, and a recipe for the Zalabia.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
My education has been a source. Also, I am using an old recipe, and riddle and stories from My Lucky Dreidel.
