For each number we learn your child will receive 2 worksheets. We will work on one worksheet in class and the other worksheet is for extra practice outside of class.Class Experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
In this ongoing class, learners will learn to write their numbers using the Handwriting Without Tears method. We will learn how to properly form numbers. Daily Schedule: 1. Wood Piece Introduction/Exercise/Song 2. Form the Number of the Day with Wood Pieces 3. Wet-Dry-Try with the Number of the Day on a Learning Without Tears chalkboard (a dry erase board works well too) 4. Number Song - Each day we will start with 1 and practice each number until we get to the number we are working on that day. 5. Practice writing the Number of the Day on worksheet Class Schedule: Week of September 25th: #1 and #2 Week of October 2nd: #3 and #4 Week of October 9th: #5 and #6 Week of October 16th: #7 and #8 Week of October 23rd: #9 and #10 Week of October 30th: #1 and #2 Week of November 6th: #3 and #4 Week of November 13th: #5 and #6 Week of November 20th: No Class Week of November 27th: #7 and #8 Week of December 4th: #9 and #10 *Please note that this class meets twice a week. **Also, please note that this class restarts every 5 weeks of classes.

Weekly PDF - sent out on Sunday mornings 3. Writing utensil (pencil, crayon, marker, dry-erase marker, etc.) 4. Page protectors (Optional - but gives your child multiple opportunities to practice using the same worksheet) 5. Learning Without Tears Chalkboard (in like with wood pieces) or you can use a dry erase board, doodle board, etc.

I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education (Birth to 3rd grade). I was formally trained by Handwriting Without Tears, as well as Zoo Phonics. I have taught numerous children of all backgrounds in person and online using both Handwriting Without Tears and Zoo Phonics. I have taught Preschool through Kindergarten for 5 years, plus 2 years in older grades, as well as my stepdaughters and my daughter using the Handwriting Without Tears method.
