Join this one time live class where Science, Art and Writing are taught in a fun and creative way! Students will create a unique bumble bee thumbprint art project, learn scientific animal facts and write five descriptive sentences.

Class Experience

Student Learning Goals:
*Students will learn scientific characteristics/facts related to bumble bees
*Students will learn how to make thumbprints on paper with a washable marker
*Students will learn the importance of handwriting/copywork
*Learners will receive explanations of letter formation
*Learners will write 4-5 sentences pertaining to Bumble Bees(some sentences may be modified to meet leaner needs)
*Students will add detailed artwork to their thumbprints to create bumble bees
*Proper grammar, punctuation, spelling and penmanship will be emphasized and modeled 
*Learners will be challenged to write with precision to the best of their ability in a positive and encouraging environment
*Students will work to improve fine motor skills
*Learners will have the opportunity to share work with others if they choose
 1 file available upon enrollment
*Printable Attached worksheet pdf file *Washable Markers *Fine Tip Sharpie Marker/Black Ink pen *Wet Wipe/Wet Paper Towel *Pencil
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students are asked to color on their thumb with a washable marker.
