Intermediate Level
Come explore a variety of fun topics while practicing handwriting legibility in sentences. Each week, we will play a different game or learn about an unusual topic while practicing line placement, letter size, and spacing. We will identify legibility errors together and learn how to practice to improve. This class rotates 4 themes: Would You Rather 20 Questions 10 Sentence Story Family Feud Weird Facts This class is led by an occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience in the public schools. I use the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum as well as The Size Matters Handwriting Program to teach legibility and letter formations.

Learning Needs
All of my classes are created with all abilities in mind. I break down tasks into simple steps and provide opportunity for a lot of repetition. I encourage my learners to be okay with making mistakes because mistakes teach us too.
Pre-Requisites
Learners should be writing sentences. This class works specifically on legibility by focusing on line placement, letter size, and spacing.

Hi! My name is Stephanie and I was a school-based Occupational Therapist for 20+ years working with children ages 3-21 in public schools. My largest caseload was children ages 4-8 with autism and/or a learning disability.
I am very flexible with my families. If you need to miss an ongoing class, please let me know so that I can refund you for the week. I never want parents to pay for missed instruction! I also offer coupons! Just message me and let me know.
I have completed all of the Learning Without Tears workshops and use this curriculum, along with the Size Matters Handwriting Curriculum. I believe that the best way to teach is to use fun and engaging activities along with humor and silliness to engage with my students.
