Handwriting Club--More Practice
In this ongoing course, we will offer students a chance to continue to refine their handwriting skills and begin to expand into legibility with writing sentences and smaller sized print.

This ongoing class is designed for learners who want to continue to practice to refine their handwriting skills. Learners are assumed to know how to form all letters as class assignments will focus on legibility of whole sentences or longer phrases and will examine the concepts of "tall vs small" letters and introduce self checklists to examine writing (sizing of letters, alignment to baseline, and letter legibility). We will continue to use a multi-sensory approach to writing tasks and will have fun and complete creative crafts and then produce written texts related to these assignments. I want learners to see handwriting as something fun and approachable.
Learning Goals
Learners will improve their written legibility of longer writing passages.

Hello! My name is Diana Nazari and I am so excited to have you in my classroom! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Randolph Macon College in Virginia and a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University. In my day job I work predominantly with children in the public school system helping them have optimal success in their academic environment specifically in the areas of sensory processing, fine motor skills and self care skills. At home I have three active boys and as a family we love to do many activities including hiking, sports and Cub Scout events. I have been teaching on multiple teaching platforms for the last two years and I love helping students be able to access this new and exciting technology.
I am excited to begin offering a wide portfolio of classes looking at topics related to fine motor skills, sensory motor play, executive functioning and handwriting.
I love helping children get excited about learning. I believe all classes should be engaging and interactive. My goal while teaching is to make the topic exciting and approachable.
