When a student understands the material, but cannot get their ideas written down it is frustrating for them! As children get older, filling out a written job application is terrifying because they don't want to expose a weakness. Poor handwriting is sometimes not an issue of "practicing more." My son has dysgraphia and we have used this with great success. He just graduated from high school, and now does it on his own willingly to avoid the stress of others (and himself) not being able to read his writing. Also, writing for him is exhausting and frustrating, so that is avoided.
You will be given information on how to do the conversion for yourself during the course, which will then require a free app download and use of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents will need to view with their younger students so they can learn to do the conversion. The idea is that at first you will convert and they will complete. As they get older, you can teach them how to do the conversion for themselves.
