Dive inside Earth in this hands-on one-time stem science class. What creates gravity and the magnetic field around the Earth? Where does lava come from? How does Earth's internal structure support life on the surface? This class will begin with some quick introductions and an overview of the lesson. Learners will read along with a presentation shared on Nearpod and the teacher will elaborate on the layers of the Earth as you move from the crust to the core. Learners will color, label and add characteristics of each layer of Earth on a provided worksheet. This lesson includes a class pack containing related vocabulary, note-taking sheets and suggested activities to extend learning at home!
