35 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time class students will work on extracting strawberry DNA using some simple things found around their homes. This hands on experiment allows students to see DNA with their naked eye. I have over 4 years of experience teaching high school Biology and this experiment is loved by many students. I will guide the students through the steps of how to extract, isolate, and observe the DNA of the strawberry. *LATE/MISSED CLASS POLICY* All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. In the event that no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 min. Class recordings are available upon request. *TEACHER FEEDBACK* I would love for you to leave me feedback on how I did as well! It will really help me grow and develop my presence here on Outschool! If you don’t think this class earned 5 stars, please message me! *Refund/Transfer Policy* Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds for missed classes. I will be glad to transfer your learner to another section but require 24 hours' notice. This timing is necessary in order to fill the spot you are vacating. If I transfer you on short notice, I may not be able to fill your original spot, which means you are taking up two spots but only paying for one.
