A one-time class who’s recipe will change, frequently. Hit the heart to save it and check back for the next snack! Age We sequentially prepare quick snacks, discuss texture, food groups, safety, & flavor.

Class experience

This class is taught in English.
The students will be encouraged to follow sequential instruction, explore relatively healthful foods,  use of manual dexterity, expand descriptive conversation, taste palate, independence and confidence,  identify the foods used , and their favorite/least favorite foods. Creativity.

Silly Sandwiches Bring your favorite foods and pile it ontop of your favorite bread or tortilla etc. Caution with all foods, make sure your child can chew the foods chosen, and non allergenic. We will peel, slice and dice in class at times. *********************************** *Kitchen attire encouraged (not required) to add to the experience ( hat, apron, etc.) Plate/flat surface/bowl/cup Napkin child-safe knife/child-safe spoon to scoop and spread Towel/smock for possible messes Water to drink Parental guidance Listening ears Safe and clean hands Ready to learn any applicable worksheet
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance for safe foods and supplies, small parts etc. All Foods safe for your child, butter knife or kid safe knife, plates, glass jars from jelly, jam, grapes, strawberries, fruits, pectin, wheat, seeds, plates, all fruits and vegetables, aprons, hats, microwave, appliances, cutlery, oats, soy, greens, meat/substitutes.  Please be aware of food allergens, adjust your child's ingredients appropriately.  wheat, soy, egg, peanuts, sugar, seeds, tree nuts, seafood, gluten, almond, soy, dairy, plastic, metal, ceramic plate. 
This class can be 'messy' and is expected to be as such. This is part of the learning experience.   If your child has allergies or needs special accommodations, please let me know in advance so that I may tailor the conversation for their participation.
Pictures, books, fresh foods, flashcards may be used for the purpose of discussing healthy food choices.
