In this 4 day course students will begin learning concepts "for most" and reviewing addition, subtraction, and multiplication. This is a fun and creative learning environment that allows children to use manipulatives to help them problem solve. This approach gives children an opportunity to see things in different ways and gives them an opportunity to enjoy learning. This is an open ended class that allows children to communicate and answer questions in a pressure free environment. We use lots of fun and creative items to solve math problems. Below you will find the schedule: Day One- Adding with two digit numbers (with and without carrying) "Each skill will be taught" Day Two- Subtraction with two digit numbers (with carrying) "Each skill will be taught" Day Three- Multiplication-Skip counting "Each skill will be taught" Day Four- Concept Review and Reteach "Each skill will be taught" My teaching style is Montessori inspired and I have a degree in education and health and human services " specializing in family and children". This degree has allowed me to gain skills and knowledge when it comes to teaching and communicating with children of all ages.
Learning Goals
At the end of the 4 days your learner should be able to complete all 3 math concepts in a fun way.

Supply List
A set of numbers 1-10 (magnetic numbers, numbers cut out on paper, etc...).. A set of manipulatives Dry erase board and Maker or Paper and Pencil
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
