I have been traveling to Ghana since 1999 when I co-coordinated a Rites of Passage Study Tour with my father and since then been organizing group tours for youth and adults to Africa and the Diaspora. My first trip to Ghana inspired me to create a non-profit organization that provided cultural enrichment programs and services. I am excited about this next chapter with the learning lab and creating digital content and virtual classes.
A supply list handout will be sent. You can still participate even without having all the supplies at the start of class. No prior knowledge is required to attend class. Students can go at their own pace and finish the project after class if needed.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please assist younger learners as needed with using scissors and paint.
