How much do you know about the USA? What about your state? This interactive and hands-on class will allow learners to learn about the 50 states, landforms, and state features using clay or playdough. Learners will use playdoh to create the shape of each state (1 state/week). We will identify landforms, bodies of water, the capital, and major cities on our playdoh states. Learners will be active in the class as they engage in discussion and view pictures and videos of the week’s state....

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parent supervision is required for the use of Playdoh and scissors
