Assessment
Frequency: available upon requestDetails: Assessments offered upon request.
Learners should be able to use scissors, grasp a needle, and have the fine motor skills to thread a needle (with or without assistance.)
Students should come to class with a small, sharp sewing needle, spool of multi-purpose thread, scissors, and three pieces of woven (not stretchy!), solid colored, 100% cotton fabric measuring approximately 8x8" (a single "fat quarter" is sufficient!) It is especially helpful to new sewists to have a solid fabric and a thread in a contrasting color, so they can see their stitches as they practice!
Please note that students should have the impulse control and fine motor skills needed to safely use scissors and sharp needles to participate in this class.
