Hand Lettering Hacks 2.0 (Part 2)

Students will expand on their knowledge of fauxligraphy, a lettering style learned in the previous class Hand Lettering Hacks. In this class Hand Lettering Hacks 2.0, students will practice putting letters, words, and key phrases together to create beautiful and elegant typography. It is helpful if the student has some prior knowledge of cursive, but not necessary. We will begin by practicing putting together various combinations of upper and lower case cursive letters. Then we will use our hack to add creativity and elegance to our writing. Students will end the lesson by creating their own typographical work of art.
