Class Experience- in class, we will discuss letters, and figure out what styles students like (look at the world around them: book covers, grocery store signs, billboards, movie titles, magazine, covers, even food packaging) no prior lettering knowledge needed. I have been lettering for 20 years. Currently, I letter for businesses around town, commission work and weddings
Students will create their own unique alphabet font. Students are encouraged to "doodle" different letters and phrases for 15 minutes a day. Completing a 7 day art journal. They will then look at the progress they have made, noting things they like with their letters, and changes they would make in the future.
