Description

Class Experience

In this class, students will learn fundamentals of hand-drawing like an Architect. While interest in the professional career is welcomed, it is certainly not required!

We'll focus on one of the most classic architectural drawings – the Floorplan. A floorplan is a two-dimensional diagram that outlines the rooms and spaces of a building. Drawn in birds-eye view (from above), it also shows the structure of walls, doors, windows, etc. 

CLASS STRUCTURE:
1) We will start by imagining a cool...

• Learn the fundamentals of hand-drawing architecture floorplans. 
• Learn to think ahead and complete multiple drafts. 
• Learn to accept "mistakes" as a natural component of the process

Paper (2 blank sheets)
Pencil
Black Marker (or pen, wide point preferable)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
