Hand Animal Drawings: Draw Your Favorite Animals by Tracing Your Hand!

In this class students will learn step-by-step how to position, outline, and trace their hands to create a friendly and fun animal! This class is interactive, and learners will have access to ask questions and interact directly with Mrs. Black and other students. 

Mrs. Black will first go through some various hand position exercises, and then show students how to position their hands on the paper before tracing. Students will use a crayon to outline the contour of their hand, leaving a shape that will be turned into an animal. Students will sharpen fine motor skills and present their artwork at the end of the lesson! 

For this class, students should be able to follow simple directions and hold a writing utensil.
