Hamilton Fans on Deck!!!! Do you love watching, singing, and talking about Hamilton? Do you consider yourself a legitimate Hamilfan? Then, you have come to the right place! This class will start with introductions and a Hamilton-themed ice-breaker. Then, we will move into a Kahoot Trivia or Draw & Guess Game! In each class, the students will be asked what they know of the topic from the film and then we will throw in some historical facts that they may not be aware of. *If there are less than three learners, the Kahoot may be finished quicker and class will not take as long. Each week will be focused on a different character and historic event outlined below. Week of 1/1: Hamilton Pictionary Game Week of 1/15: Hamilton's Week Week of 1/22: Act I Week Week of 2/5: Hamilton Jeopardy Game Week of 2/19: Act II Week Week of 3/2: Compilation of all Weeks *Topics repeat back at the beginning and the topics and questions are refreshed!* I've found that it is most helpful for participants to have 2 devices to work on. Typically, it is best to enter the OutSchool Zoom using a computer and have a tablet or phone available to access Kahoot! Kahoot! is available in the form of a downloadable app or by going to https://kahoot.it If two devices are not possible, one can do a split screen with the internet to see questions on one screen and the answers on the second. **Music will not be played due to Copyright issues.** ****If you do not see a class time that works for you, please send me a schedule request and I will do my best to accommodate your learner****

My name is Cristina and I am on the East Coast. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and Minor in Communications and Geography. I have experience working with Elementary and Middle School aged students in a school setting and as a tutor. Also, I have worked with high school and college students in the area of career and college readiness. I am multi-lingual in Portuguese, Spanish, and have 4 years of French. I have worked with many ESL/EFL students of all ages, with varied levels of language understanding.
In my online classroom, there is a direct focus on fostering meaningful discussions to help guide learning. I believe that each learner may have a different learning style that should be encouraged. I welcome the diversity and love working with all students to include neuro-divergent learners. Students are encouraged to share their thoughts and discoveries while asking questions along the way. Knowledge is power!
Outside of the classroom, I am a homeschooling mom to three wonderful children, and Girl Scout Leader. We love visiting family and the beach! We are the proud owners of two small dogs and foster animals.
My classes will provide a fun and safe environment to learn and talk about some of our favorite things.
