Description
Class Experience
Students will understand what Ham Radio is. Students will be able to decide if Ham Radio is a skill they wish to pursue, and how to pursue it if they wish. Students will know what resources are available for them to use in their journey to become a Ham Radio Operator.
Optional Homework: Ask around and see if there are any people in your family who have a Ham Radio License, and ask them for a cool story to share about it. Take a walk and see if you can spot any ham radio towers on houses in your neighborhood.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
