Let's celebrate one of our founding fathers through song and dance! In this class, students will learn a new Musical Dance Routine and a Musical Theatre song from the Broadway phenomenon Hamilton the Musical. This class is great for beginning and intermediate levels of theatre, music, or dance. Students will learn -The beginnings of proper vocalization while singing -How to emote/act in a performance piece -New moves!
With my BA in Theatre Performance from Huntington University and my 6 years of freelance teaching I have gained the skills to teach students these different art forms in multiple situations and adaptations.
Homework Offered
After each class students should watch recorded lessons. They will need to: -Practice what they have learned at least an hour a week outside of class - Students will need to video- record and send in their performances before the last class.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed by: OBSERVATION: -How much choreography do they remember? -Are they memorized? -Did they make changes after being given notes? FEEDBACK: -Students will receive notes as a whole -Students will receive notes individually -If we have notes for a student that might be embarrassing we will send them privately (i.e. Sarah, you keep starting on the left every time....)Grades Offered

Hamilton the Musical has adult language and content. I try to choose my content that is kid friendly. Please make sure to review the songs in the descriptions before enrolling. We are dancing and moving in this class so water and proper stretching are recommended!
