This beginners dance class will introduce basic movements of hip-hop. We warm-up, stretch and will learn a fun routine. During class we also take a couple breaks! Halloween Costumes are definitely welcome!
Class experience
During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies, we will do some cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 10-15 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine. (25 -30 minutes) All music is upbeat and fun, nothing too scary and definitely age appropriate! Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 19 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

1 file available upon enrollmentWe will be making a pumpkin at the end of class. Things you will need: Bring 1 sheet of paper. (Whatever color you want your pumpkin to be.) Pipe cleaner or if you do not have one bring a pen/pencil etc. Scissors Hole puncher Tape Check the welcome message for the photo of what we will be making during the end of class!
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
