Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about measurements and improve fine motor skills when decorating cookies. They will improve their listening skills by listening to the story and following directions. They will improve their coordination skills through movement and dancing. They will feel confident and empowered by being encouraged to use their own movements to participate in class.
The list of ingredients for the cookie decorating will be provided immediately upon enrollment.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Adult supervision and/or assistance when decorating cookies. We will be melting chocolate in the microwave so precautions for safety should hlbe taken. When it is time to dance, children will need a space to move around and dance. The space should be free of object on the floor or anything they can bump into. This is to avoid injuries or falls. They will need appropriate shoes (no sandals, flip flops or heels). They also need a bottle of water.
