US Grade Kindergarten - 1
Children will be read Halloween stories, poems, sing songs, do puzzles, and complete an associated craft. Slides will be shared to visually reinforce the focus of the lesson and keep learners engaged. 
Stories: How to Scare a Ghost, by Jean Reagan, There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bat, by Lucille Colandro, Creepy Carrots, by Aaron Reynolds, Halloween Hustle, by Charlotte Gunnufson, Bonapart Falls Apart, by Will Terry, The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything, by Linda Williams, and Vanishing Pumpkin, by Tony Johnston.

Crafts: Making a witch, a mummy, making a 3-D pumpkin, big-eyed spider and painting a small pumpkin,

Supply List
White yarn, markers, scissors, glue, crayons, 1 plain paper plate, a few sheets of green, yellow, black, orange construction paper, one toilet paper roll or cut paper towel roll, googly eyes if you wish. Also need a small gourd sized pumpkin to pain-grab a few if painting some for others. Washable paint and a paintbrush-paper towels and water cup to clean brush. Painting will be on day 5. I will send a packet with some patterns and activities as well as puzzles and additional fun-please print prior to class.
