Description

Class Experience

Students will be learning how to decorate and make their own Halloween treats. Topics covered in this class is how to make your own melted chocolate and work with chocolate.  Students will be able to dress up and use their creative skills to decorate both rice krispie mummies and oreo pumpkin treats. My style of teaching is allowing students to follow along while I do a demo. I also believe that keeping things simple when it comes to cooking or baking is the best way to learn. I will provide...

Mummy rice krispies
1.5 cups of white wafers or candy melts
4 rice krispie treats
Candy eyes


Halloween pumpkin oreo cookies 
1.5 cups white wafers or orange candy melts
Orange food coloring  (Oil or Gel base work for candy melts and wafers best) 
Small packet of standard size oreo cookies
Large black icing tube for decorating (also for rice krispie mummies)

Equipment: nonstick sauce pan, rubber spatula,  parchment paper, tongs, mixing bowl, cookie tray,  ziploc bag, fork

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Heat/stove parental guidance advised
